Goals for Future
The community I am working with is illiterate. The trend of female education is very low. Therefore, I would plan to educate the females of this community. In addition, I would like to enhance my education.
My goals as a teacher
To create an environment that is conducive to learning and that brings the students in and gets them excited about the subject. To bring all of the different learning styles into each lesson to create a more productive lesson over all that every students can learn from and get something out of it.To have fun in my classroom and to get my students excited about learning . EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION DESCRIPTIONThe name of my school isF, G MODEL SCHOOL FOR GIRLS NOOR PUR SHAHAN ISLAMABAD”.
The students coming to this school are from the huts. It’s a very poor community. They are deprived of the basic needs like food, clothing, shelter, proper drinking water.  Some of the teachers are financially supporting the students as they can’t afford the fee. The students are very talented and intelligent. My Mission: Intend knowledge stimulate learning and promote understanding for the benefits of humanity

Infrastructure: The building consists of 19 classrooms, a science and a computer lab.
The condition of the building is not good or safe as it has cracks due to the earth quack we had in Pakistan.

Medium of Instruction:The medium of instruction is EnglishNumber of Students: The school is jam-packed with students. We have almost 1000 girls enrolled

I feel really bad about the situation of my school. The kids are so intelligent but deprived with the basic needs of life. There are two other schools in the community but they avoid taking these kids as at the end of the year the principal is evaluated by the overall result of the school. They fear that these kids might not perform well and the principal will be called for explanation by the higher authorities.so we welcome these kids to our school with open arms do to this our classes are jammed packed. After going through a tough test I was selected in the government  job as a teacher witch is considered as a blessing in Pakistan. I was allotted a school When I first joined the school I was very much disappointment to see the situation of the school .I went home had a discussion with my father that I have dropped the idea of joining this school .Tshere was hardly furniture for the kids to sit on .Many classes were sitting on the mats .children dirty with running noses .not a good sight. But that day my father sat with me for an hour or so he really encouraged me to join this school .His lesson was that every one prefers to go to good places these children deserve good teachers to so don’t take this as a job but take it as you are doing charity work for the community .Well that lesson really effected my mind. And this is the 7th year of me in that institution .Me and my friends are really working hard for these kids .We pull in some donations from our family members our collages and we as well as these kids can’t afford the school fee their uniforms .In the winter we proved them warm clothes and coats as the wither is very cold. The dropout rate has dropped very low since the last few years kids are enjoying the school. Sometime tears come into my eyes when I see these deprived kids of the basic needs. I wished I had a magic stick with witch I could change  the lives of these kids

    NEEDS OF MY SCHOOL

The school is deprived of everything. It’s a shame that even living in this century we do not have the basic needs. The needs of my school are as following

  • Library which is very important part of education is missing.
  • Furniture is insufficient
  • School building does not meet the needs and one portion is unsafe to use due to earth quake cracks .but they r still being used
  • Poor washroom facilities
  • No green  area in the school
  • Need of more train staff
  • Clean water
NON SIBI REFLECTION
Service to mankind was always my passion.  Luckily for me the school I am working in gives me the chance to do so the community that I am working with is deprived of basic needs like food education and shelter.  So the kids coming to my school sometimes don’t have two meal times. It feels really bad to know the situation so my friend and I at the school started supporting the children by paying their school dues so they don’t drop out of the school. Then in the winter they needed warm cloths so we pooled in some money for them. Now I go around in to my family members as some of them are wealthy and are happy to contribute there share. So we are giving the kids clothing as well. And the chain is growing day by day as my colleagues have also stared to contribute.

Washington DC REFLECTION:
I think I am very lucky to have the opportunity to visit Washington DC. It was a wonderful experience for me . The Americans have saved their heritage in such a beautiful way.so many big statues and monuments I never imagined I would get the chance to see. I saw different museums and monuments;
First of all we visited the state department early morning .Had the meeting with Susan Dimwit and other officials related to our program .A very productive discussion went on .finally we were   awarded our certificates. There was a moon light tar ally tour in the afternoon. That was really amazing .
I saw the following places:
  • Washington monuments
  • Lincoln memorial
  • Jefferson memorial
  • World war ll memorial
  • Iwo Jima memorial
  • Air force memorial
  • National museum of natural history: There ha view of air and space travel
  • Statue of Albert Einstein
All the places are fabulous
I also visited the national freedom building from the inside which I was told that hardly people are allowed to visit it; overall the trip to Washington DC was assume it was informative as well. The whole PELI group enjoyed the food at Kabab palace.
