DAY-WISE PROCEEDINGS:
Day 1:
Day-1 was dedicated to Dr. Christie Sweeney. It was based upon “Activity-Based Teaching” through “Four Corners Activity” by using methodology of “Think, Pair and Share” and “Jigsawing”.
SESSION I
FOUR CORNERS ACTIVITY
- Each participant was asked to take one Flash Card and write her name in the center, designation on left top corner, location on right top corner, why you came here on bottom left corner and memorable incident of childhood on bottom right corner.
- Afterwards, each participant paired up and interchanged flash card with next member by explaining it to him.
- Then, participants came up in groups of two and introduced one another according to information provided on Flash Cards and enjoyed this activity a lot.
- Finally, each member pasted her Flash Card on her chair
- In this way, they got a chance to know each other and mingled up with one another.
- Teachers learnt that same activity can be carried out with students in classrooms to remember their names.
- Afterwards, each participant recognized the importance of learning students’ names, about their lives and interests in building effective teacher-student and student-student relationship through “ Four Corners Activity”
They also learnt how and why to build a good relationship with your students with particular emphasis on improving teaching learning process, and; finally worked on topic sheet and recoded their reflection and learning.
- One topic “Activity-Based Curriculum” was given to all participants and the participants were split into groups of five comprising five members each.
- HOME GROUPS: Each participant was assigned an aspect of the topic within each of the groups. In this way, she specialized in one aspect of a learning unit. The participants created their reports about their topics to present to the group.
- Following three (3) basic questions were given.
- What is Curriculum? What are the ingredients/basic components of Curriculum?
- What is “Activity Based Museum?
- What is the importance of Activity-Based Curriculum?
- EXPERT GROUPS: Participants were then asked to make a group of only their specific topic. This allowed each participant to collaborate and finalize their report topic after mastering the material.
- The original groups (HOME GROUPS) reconvened and heard presentations by each group member over their respective aspects to learn about the assigned topic.
- Best Presentation were awarded based upon the assessment of participants and it was very helpful in creating collaborative and cooperative learning among students and groups
- In the end reflection was also taken and participants comments were recorded to see how important is it to design “Activity-Based Curriculum” to increase “Co-operative Learning”
DAY-WISE PROCEEDINGS:
Day 2:
A “Study Visit” to Lahore Museum based upon the concept of “Experiential Learning”
Today's session was based upon the idea of "Experiential Learning". In this regard, a "Study Visit" of "Lahore Museum" was organized.
All teachers were very excited and it was an entirely new idea for them to relate curriculum with experiential learning. They all agreed that it is really important to bring students at such places to build creativity.

Day 3:
Today's session was based upon "Activity-Based Teaching" focusing "Critical Pedagogy, Conflict Resolution (through Role Play), Civil Society" and” Cline Activity"
Today's Session was dedicated to "Professor Dr. Leo Sanday "and "Ms. Marguerite Crowell & Ms. Mary Ann McGarry"
We had an interactive session, all teachers liked the idea of "Critical Pedagogy" followed by a session on "Conflict Resolution" through "Role Play" and finally CLine Activity.

Day 4:
Today's session was about the "Development of Master Action Plans" by all teachers.
All teachers developed their 'Master Action Plans" during whole day individually and enjoyed this activity.
Today's Session was dedicated to "KIM, Andrea and Julie"
